In a country with a population of just over 600,000, Don G has proudly represented reggae music for the past four years, performing across Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, the UK, Switzerland, and Italy.

Before his European journey, Don G made his mark on major stage shows across Jamaica, including Sting at Jam World in Portmore, Black River Day at the Irie FM Street Jam in St. Elizabeth, Irie FM In Di Area Road Show in Spanish Town, the Sizzla Kalonji Charity Concert in Green Hill, the Linstead Ackee Festival & Magnum Galiday Bounce in Linstead, St. Catherine, Papa Curvin Earth Day Bash at Race Course in Oracabessa, St. Mary, and the Westmoreland Easter Showcase.

In 2017, Don G moved to Europe, where he continues to spread his wings globally. With the Jamaican banner held high, he endorses the culture through reggae music, evolving his career and taking his music to new international heights.

ABOUT THE MUZIK

Don G premiered "What Goes Around" on June 3, 2013, debuting at number five. This success was followed by the release of "Just Hold On" and "Even Though You Gone (Tribute)," which garnered much acclaim in Jamaica in September 2013. In 2017, he released his four-track reggae EP entitled "You Reap What You Sow," closely followed by singles like "Mother's Cry" and "Inna Jam Down." His song "Nah Give Up" poignantly addresses the daily struggles faced by people both within and outside Jamaica.

After moving to Europe in 2017, Don G released "We Need A Change," which addresses the crime surge in his hometown of Linstead, Jamaica. This track was produced by Omar “Bobo Omar” Phillips of One Tree Records in Brooklyn, New York, on the Train Line rhythm.

Don G’s debut album, "Faith Moves Mountains," is set for release this year. Produced by JamBerchem Empire, a Luxembourg-based company renowned for its work with Jamaican dancehall artists like Charly Black, Future Fambo, and Kalado, as well as Vincentian singer Kevin Lyttle. The album is expected to feature 15 songs.

In the meantime, Don G has been actively recording and promoting his music through numerous tours in the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and Luxembourg. Notably, he performed at the Felabration 2023 Festival in Nigeria, honouring Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. Prior to the release of "Faith Moves Mountains," Don G plans to release singles such as "Free" and "African Stand Firm."
